Long time no talk, guys!
I uploaded my first video of my series Lani Rambles! They're completely unscripted videos that I will film talking about various topics that come to mind. Most of which will be personal thoughts on life, relationships, friendships, etc. It's basically me literally thinking out loud. I hope you guys will enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them!
I hope to become more active on this blog, as well as on Youtube. I started college recently, however, so I'm not sure how it's going to be once I start taking more classes. But, I will try my best!
Thank you all for sticking around and please look forward to more content!

After a few months in the works, my senior project video is completed!!
I would write more in this post, but the video speaks for itself.
Emotionally, I feel that this video was the perfect way for me to say "goodbye" to Hawaii.
I felt really nostalgic working on this video. I got to go through so many new and
old clips and I got to see how much I've grown, in many different aspects.
Overall, it was a good closure for my time in Hawaii and it allowed me
to move to San Diego with a heart full of gratitude rather than sadness.
Hope you enjoy watching the video as much as I enjoyed creating it!

Our last days in Japan.
We spent it with relatives that I've never met before
and visiting the places that my grandparents grew up.
It was really nice to hear stories of when they were growing up.
I hope that, someday, I will go back to Hiroshima and be able to speak Japanese
and exchange stories with these relatives of mine.
Thanks for reading!
Here's to more adventures!

Hiroshima
It was such a historical city.
It was also the city that my grandpa grew up in.
Miyajima Island was by far one of my favorite places of the entire trip.
It was so serene and we were lucky it was such a beautiful day.
I'd love to bring my parents there when I go next time.

I was only able to get footage of Nara and the deer that day,
but we also went to a place and learned how to make manju in Kyoto.
Kyoto definitely has a more mellow feeling than Tokyo.
But, it still has some large shopping malls that are very modern and expansive.
I think I like Kyoto just as much as Tokyo, but in different ways~
Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed!

Osaka Castle, the Golden Pavilion, Nijou Castle, and Kiyomizu-dera.
All of them were stunning with their own unique charm.
I find it funny that the photos of mine I like the most aren't of the actual
castles or temples, but, instead, they're of the people and streets.
