I was at the Irvine Spectrum center the other day as I was heading back down from OC when I stumbled upon this really cute dessert place called Honey & Butter. I had never heard of it before and I only tried it because my mom insisted on seeing what it was.
When I decided to try their oreo flavored macaron, I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it. I'm pretty picky when it comes to my macarons and I usually prefer tea/flower flavors. However, I was happily surprised at how yummy it was. My mom got their "character" macaron in the shape of a panda filled with regular cream. They weren't overly sweet to me, but having just one was perfect as an afternoon treat. We didn't decide try their ice cream, but I definitely saw a few people getting cups and cones of it. Maybe I'll try it next time.
My favorite thing about the shop was the aesthetics. They had TsumTsum plushies everywhere as well as Totoro, Pusheen, and other adorable characters. The place is pretty spacious and open, but they only have one long table that customers can share. The wooden swing in front of their Instagram chalkboard is perfect to take photos in front of and though I don't have a photo of me sitting there, a part of me wishes I had taken one. Haha!
Overall, Honey & Butter has a minimalistic/modern feel with adorable sweets to try out. I would recommend stopping by, even if it was just to admire the super cute stuffed animals!

I've always wanted to do a speed drawing video!
Artists on Youtube/Deviantart/Instagram/etc. are the ones
that inspired me to start creating my own art.
I've drawn on and off throughout my life
and I only started to do it more frequently recently.
I hope you guys enjoy watching the video!
I'm not sure I'm going to continue uploading weekly.
I want to put more time and effort into bigger video projects
and start focusing on this blog right here!
I really appreciate the support and I hope you'll stick around!
Thanks so much for reading!

Dermographism is something that I've been living with for almost as long as I can remember. As I mentioned in my video, I didn't learn about what it was until I was around 12 years old. If it wasn't for the few people that posted videos on it and showed their own symptoms, I wouldn't have figured out what it was. That is what motivated me to made this post/video. I know I didn't show my symptoms (I forgot to, to be completely honest) but I hope that the links below will be enough. To the people that don't have this condition, it's not as scary as it looks!
From what I know, the true cause of dermographism is still unknown. I've never tried to treat my dermographism and have just been living with it as a normal part of my life. I try my best not to scratch my skin too hard. I also wear comfortable clothes, nothing with rough fabrics/designs like sequences or beads.
If you'd like to learn more about it, check out the following links!

After seeing so many people do it, I decided to try the TMI Tag!
I had a lot of fun filming it because it was a bit out of my comfort zone.
Though the questions aren't that TMI, I still think you learned a little bit about me.
Hope you guys enjoyed it and thanks for all the support!

Long time no talk, guys!
I uploaded my first video of my series Lani Rambles! They're completely unscripted videos that I will film talking about various topics that come to mind. Most of which will be personal thoughts on life, relationships, friendships, etc. It's basically me literally thinking out loud. I hope you guys will enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them!
I hope to become more active on this blog, as well as on Youtube. I started college recently, however, so I'm not sure how it's going to be once I start taking more classes. But, I will try my best!
Thank you all for sticking around and please look forward to more content!

After a few months in the works, my senior project video is completed!!
I would write more in this post, but the video speaks for itself.
Emotionally, I feel that this video was the perfect way for me to say "goodbye" to Hawaii.
I felt really nostalgic working on this video. I got to go through so many new and
old clips and I got to see how much I've grown, in many different aspects.
Overall, it was a good closure for my time in Hawaii and it allowed me
to move to San Diego with a heart full of gratitude rather than sadness.
Hope you enjoy watching the video as much as I enjoyed creating it!
Thanks for reading~
